FAQ

  • I work with those who are ready to feel their best! I specialize in gut health and conditions (IBS, IBD, celiac disease, stubborn GI symptoms), fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum, general healthy eating, and more. Think of me as your new best friend on your health and wellness journey. I also love collaborating with patient providers, as having a multi-disciplinary team is important. Lastly, it is important to understand that these changes take time and I do not offer quick fix solutions. My goal is for you to feel better for the long term!

  • All sessions are held virtually or via phone call, from the comfort of your own home! All sessions held virtually are held on a secure, HIPPA-compliant virtual platform.

  • At this time, Crave Nutrition is an out-of-network practice and does not accept insurance. Check back in a few months for updates on this! We do accept HSA and FSA cards as a form of payment for all packages and a-la-carte services. It is recommended to verify your eligibility with your plan provider to ensure nutrition counseling is a qualified expense. Crave Nutrition is also able to provide superbills, an itemized receipt detailing nutrition services provided, so that you may submit to your insurance provider to seek reimbursement. • Yes, we are happy to discuss various payment options if a payment plan would work best for you.

  • Initial consultations are 60 minutes and follow-up sessions are 45 minutes. Given that it takes time for nutrition and lifestyle changes to occur (if we want them to be sustainable which is the goal!), I have found that a 45 minute session length is crucial to cover everything from nutrition, lifestyle, supplements, to behavioral changes. If after working together for an extended period of time you and I find that 30 minute sessions are just as effective, that can be discussed. As far as frequency, sessions are usually weekly or bi-weekly. Consistency is key to success and frequent visits can aid in accountability, sustainable behavior and lifestyle changes. Once you are feeling better, we can discuss pairing sessions down to a frequency that feels good to you.

  • No, Crave Nutrition does not offer meal plans. The goal is to provide you with tools and knowledge on how to create balanced meals, what adequate intake looks like and meal timing so that in the future you are able to make these decisions on your own. Nutrition is very individual and meal plans often do not take this into account. However, you and I can work together on coming up with meal ideas and digging through recipes that take into account your preferences, cooking abilities, and lifestyle.

What to Expect

  • Step One

Before the initial consultation, you will complete a questionnaire where you will detail your past medical history as well as current signs and symptoms you are experiencing. I will review the questionnaire before the initial consultation to identify potential starting points for upcoming sessions together.

During the 60-minute initial consultation, you will take a deep dive into your questionnaire, so that I have a full picture of your history, lifestyle (including sleep, stress, and exercise), health concerns, and goals. No detail is too small; the more information I know, the better!

  • Step Two

Next, I will create a personalized plan tailored to your individual needs and goals to get you feeling your best.

This personalized plan may include supplement recommendations (if necessary), depending on Morgan’s clinical assessment, current signs and symptoms, and any relevant bloodwork.

  • Step Three

You will then schedule ongoing follow-ups with me, usually weekly or bi-weekly (in the beginning), to refine your personalized plan, where you can discuss what is and is not working for you.

Throughout your sessions, you will learn an abundance of nutrition education, including how to eat for your own body in a sustainable and realistic way.

  • Step Four

Once you are feeling better, I will discuss with you the option to decrease your session cadence to a frequency that feels good for you.

No matter how often you meet (weekly to every few months) you will always have the opportunity to reach out to me via chat or email. Think of me as your new best friend during your wellness journey!
