Meet Your Dietitian
Morgan Roberts, MS, RDN, LDN
Originally from North Carolina, I moved to New York City to complete my education as a registered dietitian. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from Wofford College and my Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from New York University. I completed my dietetic internship at Mount Sinai Hospital and continued working at Mount Sinai Hospital as an inpatient dietitian. I also worked as a lead dietitian at Culina Health before founding Crave Nutrition.
I have a multifaceted history with food and nutrition. It started during high school when I fell in love with cooking, leading me to spend hours at grocery stores looking at different foods in order to cook an exciting new meal or recipe for my family each night (if only I still had this stamina 15 years later!).
This love of food and cooking led me to create a blog where I developed recipes and photographed them for my readers (shoutout to my blog, Sweetened with Sugar!).
I have my own history of being a patient of an RD, which is one of the reasons I wanted to become one. With various health issues and GI conditions myself, frequent doctor visits and medication trials became the norm. Eventually, a gastroenterologist suggested investigating the underlying causes of my symptoms by meeting with an RD. Through dietary changes and working closely with my RD, I discovered how profoundly nutrition can transform my health and overall life for the better. Now, my aim is to help guide patients towards their own breakthrough moments so they can feel better as well.
I love digging into a patient’s history and symptoms, putting the puzzle pieces together, and determining the root cause of their symptoms. Everyone is unique and requires an individualized approach, so you will not find a one-size-fits-all meal plan or cookie-cutter recommendations here. I want you to feel better for the long term! I pride myself on taking a holistic approach, where looking at the whole body is vital. With my clinical expertise and gentle approach, I create a welcoming space for patients to achieve their goals in a realistic and sustainable way.
Living Sweet
When not meeting with amazing patients, I love to travel, try new restaurants in NYC with my foodie husband, Brad (current obsession is Nami Nori), go on walks with my mini Australian Shepherd, Luna (who might make an appearance or two during sessions), do pilates, read (currently loving Emily Henry and Colleen Hoover), and spend time with family and friends.
